First Week in the Books
Praise the Lord for an awesome first week of flag football. We took the
first week to get used to the game and learn the way it is played. Great
job to all those who came out and enjoyed a beautiful night of football.
To all the rest of you who missed, you aren’t going to want to miss this
week as we begin the actual games. And you "one game" vets - we are
going to be looking to you to teach the rules and game play to the guys
who missed. This Saturday may have a light drizzle, but real football
players aren’t made of sugar, so there are no weather excuses. Think of
it this way - if it rains and the field gets muddy, then a guy like Erik
Lauricella will be slowed down to everyone else’s level. Thanks again to
all who showed up this week and we're looking forward to seeing more
this week as the Dolphins are home against the Patriots, and the Bills
travel to the Jets. |
