College & Career Ministry

Life after high school can be daunting and challenging; a time when young adults are expected to make big decisions and forge a new future on their own. During this time, the Faith Fellowship College and Career Group seeks to encourage and aid each other by building godly relationships upon the unchanging Word of God and the common fellowship of Christ’s forgiveness. This is accomplished primarily through the young men and women seeking out opportunities to serve within the Body and the community. On the first Thursday of each month, a group of guys goes to the inner-city ministry of the Buffalo City Mission to hold a 7pm chapel service for the men who are there. The College & Career Praise Team has the privilege of serving once a month during a Sunday morning and Wednesday evening service leading the congregation in worship, and consists of those who enjoy singing and playing instruments. Other service opportunities have arisen that the College & Career have been able to be involved in, such as working with the Crosswired Youth Group for their annual Fall Fest, selling refreshments for the Town of Clarence at the Towne Park on July 4th, and doing a cleanup and fence removal for “Bark in the Park.” Every Sunday morning at 9:30 the group meets for Sunday School in their room just off the foyer to the right of the sanctuary, and on Wednesdays nights at 7 they sit under the teaching of Pastor Bob in the sanctuary. Once a month College & Career students meet at the home of a Committed Broken Servant family for “Sunday Lunch Fellowship,” which provides opportunities for them to build relationships with each other and other people within the church. Anyone who is just beginning college, partway through college, or graduated from college is more than welcome to become part of the group!
