How do I know that I am saved?
Heart & Mouth
Romans 10:9-10 says that if we believe in our hearts that Jesus Christ is Lord, and that God raised Him from the dead, we will be saved. But it also says that we must confess Jesus Christ with our mouth as well. As we rejoice in our salvation, that we were rescued from the pit of hell and raised to new life in Christ, we cannot help but publically confess who Jesus is and what He’s done in and for us on the cross (Matthew 10:32-33). This is evidence of our salvation.
