“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound” The call of God to service for Him has been clear to me since my youth. I consider this verse from Isaiah 61:1 to be my mission statement for my daily walk with the Lord and my ministry to the people at FFC, this community, and throughout the world. Through God’s power, strength, wisdom and grace it is my desire to “walk worthy of the vocation” (Ephesians 4:1) that He has called me to. My wife, Beth, and I are pleased to be back in this part of New York State, our hometown area, following 15 years of local church ministry in Maine. We praise the Lord that in November 2004 we celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary. We acknowledge that it is through Him that we have been blessed with this loving relationship. It is our prayer that we will be faithful followers of our good and gracious Father and Savior. We eagerly look forward to many years of ministry with the leadership team and church family at FFC.
