What to expect at
Faith fellowship Church |

|
Profile: Age-wise, all ages
are represented. Many children and young families mingle with
students of high school and college age, as well as seniors. Sunday
morning attendance is between 450 – 600 people. Dress trends towards
business-casual, through you can find anything from jeans to gray
suits, flip flops to pumps. People are friendly, but with many
visitors, please be bold and introduce yourself. |

Beginning:
On Sunday morning at 9:30am we gather for Bible classes for all ages,
which provide an opportunity to learn about God’s Word and our lives
in informal settings. So come a little early for a time of fellowship,
grab a coffee and join a class. There’s a
map with information available at the Welcome Center in the foyer, so
you’ll know where the classrooms are for all ages (even infants have
Bible teaching!). |

Music: The music we sing at FFC is a blend of old and new. Once a
month the choir sings with a focus on hymns, and various worship teams
lead on other weeks. A special treat occurs when the children sing for
the congregation! We enjoy both the doctrinally rich hymns of
centuries past, as well doctrinally sound music and rhythms of our
day. We strongly prefer congregational singing, involving musicians of
many ages and instruments, to emphasize the gathered body singing
praise to God with one voice, over performed music which tends to
spotlight the abilities of some, while encouraging passivity in the
rest. |

|
| |
Body of Service: Our service then formally begins at 10:45am;
including singing, prayer, giving our offerings and tithes, and ‘Meet
and Greet’ which gives you an opportunity to meet new people. Please
be sure to read the weekly bulletin to keep current on what’s
happening at FFC. |
| |
|
| |
Sermons: Preaching at FFC is expositional, seeking to declare the
point of a particular Bible passage, as we go through entire books of
the Bible, both Old and New Testament. Sermons usually last 45 – 60
minutes and always include practical application of our lives to what
we have heard. |
| |
|
| |
Post Sermon: Some Sundays we’ll sing a hymn or chorus together
prior to leaving, other weeks the bulk of our singing will follow the
message. There's no rush to leave as people tend to linger in the
foyer where coffee is available. |
